Hate speech against particular groups in society can be the first steps towards illegal or terrorist behaviour. If you are worried about what someone is saying, either online or in real life, please report it via:
- ACT Early – Share a Concern
- The ACT Early Support Line on 0800 011 3764
- safeguarding@kedst.ac.uk
- In an emergency, do not delay and call 999.
Report illegal or harmful information, pictures or videos you’ve found on the internet
You can report things like:
- articles, images, speeches or videos that promote terrorism or encourage violence
- websites made by terrorist or extremist organisations
- videos of terrorist attacks
You can make your report without leaving your name and contact details.
Report hate crime
Crimes committed against someone because of their disability, transgender-identity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation are hate crimes and should be reported to the police.
Hate crimes can include:
- threatening behaviour
- assault
- robbery
- damage to property
- inciting others to commit hate crimes
- harassment
- online abuse
