Earlier this month, Year 12 and Year 13 Sociology students attended the Sociology in Action trip, an inspiring event designed to deepen their understanding of key sociological concepts and theories.
The student-focused conference featured a range of expert speakers, giving learners the opportunity to hear professional sociologists discuss their research and its real-world applications. This experience not only strengthened students’ subject knowledge but also supported progress in upcoming assessments and broadened their social and cultural capital.
The day offered valuable insights into contemporary sociological issues, encouraging students to think critically and connect classroom learning with wider society.
